After treatment, follow the prescription exactly, complete partner steps, follow the clinician’s instruction about sexual contact, monitor symptoms and attend any test-of-cure or repeat-screening appointment. Feeling better does not always mean follow-up is complete.
What should happen in the first days?
Use medicine exactly as directed and keep the written instructions. Ask what side effects are expected, when symptoms should improve and which changes require urgent care.
